Point Class Tugboats
Vigor was honored to build Tidewater Transportation’s first new tugs in more than thirty years.
The three 102-foot vessels are state-of-the-art tugs, specially designed by CT Marine to service the Columbia River market. They feature a wheelhouse with exceptional all-round visibility through full height windows as well as ergonomic accommodations and comforts proven to minimize fatigue and reduce injuries amongst crew.
The tug engines are EPA Tier III compliant and provide upgraded environmental standards for cleaner emissions and a lower environmental impact.
The Point Class includes, Crown Point, Granite Point and Ryan Point.
